The purpose of this study is to propose a way of constructing semantic network of Korean verb based on Ontology, and by making use of which, to propose an actual example of a verb semantic network in Korean.First, in section 2, in order to construct Korean verb semantic network, we tried tocompose Top Ontology and Domain Ontology respectively, and established a variety of semantic relations innate in Korean lexemes. In addition, we proposed a representative structure of lexeme internal, including combinatory and even sense information of verbs.In section 3, we dealt with a semantic network constructed by selecting actual verblexemes pertaining to the domain ontology . At first, we drew up a conceptual network by going through internal and external structure of the domain ontology , and proposed their lexical semantic relations and argument combinatory information as well. Next, we gave internal lexical information of verb ‘ttaylita (to give a blow)’ pertaining to the domain ontology .This paper constructed semantic network by collectively presenting Ontology,sense, semantic relation, combinatory relation etc. Especially it dealt withconceptual properties of verbs by actually dividing Top and Domain ontology.And deviating from the previous flat semantic information, it constructed semantic network conforming to a single architecture within which syntactic and semantic lexical information operates in a uniform way.
