The dissociative photoionization of nitrous oxide in the valenceexcitation/ionization region has been studied by usingtime-of-flight mass spectrometry coupled to linearly polarizedsynchrotron radiation in the range of 22 $\sim$ 133 eV. Thephotofragmentation pattern and the efficiency relevant to specificphoton energy were evaluated. Small progressive features over thebackground of the total ion yield curve in the range from 24 to 29eV were observed, and were assigned as resonance-like doubly-excitedRydberg transitions
