This study is to investigate a origins of a guttural sound/h/. About existence of a guttural sound there is various argument. A guttural and a velar presumes as the sound which is identical from Chinese character. Sino-korean and Chinese character is to relationship of effect. The contents discussed are summarized in the followings.1) First period: There was not/h/at the sound of Chinese characters of the Shilla era. 2) Second period: There is not a possibility of knowing in the data tribe.3) Third period: The Chinese characters with glottal sound interchangeably used at the writing of the Shilla characters after seven century. 4) Goryeo era: In the pronunciation record of Kakseongin(刻成人) of Goryodaejangkyeong(高麗大藏經), we can confirm that discrimination of a guttural sound.Now to conclude, It seem that velar sound and glottal sound had been completely separated in the Third period.
