The purpose of this study is to find the effects of learning to discriminate and name picture cards using DTT on the comprehension and expressive ability of autistic children. The subjects of this study are 3 Autistic children. Multiple baseline across subjects designis used for the design of experiment. For data collection, recording and video taping of children's responses are used. For the data analysis, rate of performance and number of vocabulary acquired for picture card discrimination and naming at baseline, intervention and maintenance test are analyzed by session This study found that learning to discriminate and name picture cards using DDT improved the three autistic children's comprehension and expressive ability. Based on the findings of this study, it can be said that learning to discriminate and name picture cards using DDT are helpful for the teaching of language to autistic children. To generalize the findings, further studies that linked DDT to child initiated language learning program are needed.
