The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship among job characteristics, volunteering satisfaction and empowerment on organizational citizenship behavior of undergraduate students. For these purposes, 272 undergraduate students in Chonbuk province were interviewed using structured questionaire. Major finding of this study are as follow : First, job characteristics influences the organizational citizenship behavior directly and indirectly. Second, volunteering satisfaction and empowerment has the mediating effect between job characteristics and the organizational citizenship behavior. On the basis of these results, implications are suggested for enhancement the organizational citizenship behavior of undergraduate students.
