This paper is intented to analyze various aspects of the employment effects of three tax policies, such as corporate tax reduction, social insurance support and employment promotion tax, which are proposed mainly for improving employment. Based on the survey data consisting of over 600 companies from various industries, this paper focuses upon the following 5 issues: i) quantitative employment effects of three tax policies and determining factors, ii) comparison of relative effectiveness among three tax policies, iii) qualitative employment effects of three tax policies, iv) effectiveness of temporary tax policies, and v) preferences over various government measures for employment promotion.
