국악중심 음악치료가 시각장애 청소년의 자아탄력성에 미치는 영향 The Effects of a Music Therapy Using Principally Korean Traditional Music on Visually-impaired Students’ Ego-resilience
This study aims to examine the effects of Korean Traditional music therapy on visually-impaired students’ ego-resilience. The subjects are the students attending 00 School for the Blind located in C City, and five teenagers thought to have low ego-resilience were recommended by their school teacher. Korean Traditional music therapy in this study refers to the folk music of Korean traditional music and activity centering around rhythm, traditional songs and plays, or folk songs. Korean Traditional music therapy was conducted total 12 sessions to the visually-impaired students, twice a week, for 50 minutes. Measuring ego-resilience was performed before and after the sessions of Korean Traditional music therapy, and the prior and post changes of average scores were analyzed by each of the subfactors in general. The result of this study is as shown below. First Korean Traditional music therapy changed the visually-impaired students’ ego-resilience significantly. Second, after the Korean Traditional music therapy, the subfactors of visually-impaired students’ ego-resilience, the average scores of interpersonal relationship, vitality, emotional control, curiosity, or positivity increased all. And vitality and positivity showed significant increase.
