This study was performed to find out ICSI method used to male infertility treatment has any differences compared with general in- vitro fertilization(IVF) and IVF-ICSI paralleling method as a infertility treatment has effect. The fertilization and embryo development rate of IVF were respectively 60.1%, 58.3% and 70.2%, 64.0% by ICSI. IVF-ICSI paralleling method were 70.9%, 64.4%. Consequently, ICSI and IVF-ICSI paralleling group was higher in the fertilization rate than IVF group in the result of fertilization method. In IVF-ICSI paralleling method, a result classified into IVF and ICSI were that the fertilization and embryo development rate were respectively 78.2%, 71.6% (by IVF) and 65.8%, 59.8% (by ICSI). Consequently, In IVF method, IVF-ICSI paralleling group which was performed fertilized only a follicle of good quality was higher compared with IVF group. In ICSI method, ICSI group was higher than IVF-ICSI group using a lower quality follicle. The fertilization and embryo development rate of immature oocyte were respectively 36.5%, 32.8% by IVF and ICSI method were 65.8, 58.4%. So the rate of ICSI method was more higher. The result of pregnancy and implantation rate after transfer to the uterus on day 3 in each group were respectively 32.1%, 12.6% (IVF group) and 36.7%, 12.3% (ICSI group) and 35.2%, 9.2% (IVF-ICSI group). Consequently, the pregnancy and implantation rate were no differences. In failed fertilization or a low fertilization rate group, the result of Re-fertilization by ICSI were fertilization rate 38.5%, embryo development rate 19.2%. In the next cycle of these group, result of performed ICSI were fertilization rate 61.0%, embryo development rate 48.8%. The pregnancy rate was 20.0% by ICSI method in the next cycle. But, in Re-fertilization group, the pregnancy rate was 0%.
