This study aims to analyze the athletes'injury cases and consider the importance of pervention against the injuries. To get suggestive datum, the total 150 athletes; each of 30 athletes of the long jum in the middle and high school; each of 30 athletes of the high jump in the middle and high school; 15 athletes of the triple jump in the high school; 15 athletes of the pole vault in the high school. The followings are results of the survey composed of six points. 1. The most part of being injured is the foot, showing 380 times out of the total 1,037 times(36.8%). The leg is 309 times(30.0%), the waist 248(23.9%), the arm 65(6.3%), the neck 19(1.8%), the head and the bosom 8(0.8%). This facts point that the most jump athletes are injured in the foot and the leg by the jumping. 2. The symptoms of the injuries are mostly showed in the injuries of the joints, which happened 198 times out of the total 633 times (29.9%). The injuries of the skin, the muscles and the tendon is 184(27.8%), the bone 76(11.5), the neuron and sensory organ 21(3.2%). The injury in spring physical exercise results from the accumulation of the shock occurred in the landing by the repetition of the jump and the excessive training. 3. In the condition which a athlete is injured, the injury in exercising is more than 50%, 135 times(90%), while the injury in the actual game is just 15 times(10%). In short, both the coaches and the athletes must pay attention to the injury in exercising. 4. The injury is due to the athletes' own carelessness; 63 times out of the total 150 times(42.0%) and the middle and high school athletes' excessive desire for the victory and the bad condition. 5. When the athletes are injured, the emergency treatment is taken a step by themselves. This case is 77 times out of the total 150 times(51.3%), 43 times(27.8%) by another athlete, a coach and a director, 18(12.0%) by the nurses and the doctors in the presence, and 12(8.0%) by the professional treatment in a hospital after the injuies are happened. The above facts show that the athletes need the program for protecting themeslves. 6. In general the athletes must be treated for 2 weeks after the injury to get well. These cases are 51 times out of the total 150 times(34.0%). The other case is a week; 36 times(24.0%) more than 4 or 6 weeks is 19(12.7%), 5 weeks is 4(2.7%). The training without a rest and the athletes' and coaches' ignorance and carelessness is apt to make the period for the treatment delay
