This paper is a study on the stereoscopic feeling that human vision can perceive. When lights reflect on humans’ vision(eyeballs), stimulation will be delivered to cells, and these delivered information would be recognized as vision through the processing of the nervous system. It is the principle of the currently used 3D glasses that the human left and right eyeballs can see images at different points through one eyeglass. 3D imaging technology is both inheritance and development for 2D images. Currently, the 3D stereoscopic camera, which is commonly used, installs two cameras on both the left and right sides. The distance between the two cameras is set horizontally according to the distance between the left and right eyes of a person, which is 6.5 cm. Depending on the characteristics of the stereoscopic effect in which the stereoscopic image is expressed, with the distance increases, the object’s stereoscopic impression will gradually decrease and finally form a 2D image. For shooting a stereoscopic image, under the premise that the sense of distortion to the object would not be felt, the effective shooting distance range for detecting the stereoscopic effect of the subject is 0.8m to 20m, and the axial gap between the left and right cameras should be within the range of 3.9mm to 130mm. Drones have recently been evaluated as the best devices for aerial photography and are becoming more and more popular. However, drones for professional cinematography can not be found on the market. This paper chose a remote object as the research subject, finding the distance are between the object and the camera axis while drones are shooting a stereoscopic image from a distance. Then base on these research figures, trying to explore the relationship between distance and axis spacing. Therefore, the aerial photographing is demanding the photographer has a high level of skill in manipulating drones, and the drones are also needed to be in high quality. If we can utilize the results of this research on the distance range of the subject, the axis spacing of the camera, and the relationship between them, I think it will help the development of the 3D image aviation technology in the future. In this research, all of the experiments processed by the cameras come with drones, these cameras were asked to shoot on both sides of left and right. But in order to shooting a stereo image, it is important and difficult to maintain a constant horizontal distance between two drones in both sides. But a 3D stereoscopic camera, which is commonly used at present, can’t form a distance of 1m~ 2m as proposed in this research. So it will be an important problem to be solved in the future by designing a 3D stereoscopic camera which is not too big in size without affecting stereoscopic effect. In addition, it should be possible to carry this camera and develop a drone which can fly more stable.
