This study is to identify the effect of youth football leader's nonverbal communication on athlete's immersion and athletic satisfaction. The purpose of non-verbal communication is to present the effectiveness and necessity of athletes' immersion and athletic satisfaction, as well as the guidance methods of youth soccer leaders, as well as the potential athletic ability of young soccer players.
Therefore, in this study, the final valid sample was selected for 294 soccer players, excluding the data of 6 soccer players who are considered unreliable, by sampling the non-probability of 300 soccer players in 4th and 6th grade registered with the Korea Football Association in 2020. Statistical processing was performed according to the purpose of the analysis using SPSS/PC +26.0 Version for Window. To find out the frequency of the demographic characteristics of the people surveyed in this study, frequency analysis and validity and reliability of the questionnaire were analyzed, and exploratory factor analysis and reliability analysis were conducted. T-test and one-way variable analysis were conducted to analyze the differences between factors. Correlation analysis was performed to identify the correlation by the lower factors of the variable. Finally, the effect of non-verbal communication on athlete's immersion and athletic satisfaction was analyzed through multi-regression analysis. The significance level of all statistics is set at Ρ<0.05.
The conclusions obtained from this method of study are as follows.
First, The body language, physical extroversion, pseudo-language and spatial behavior of non-verbal communication were found to have some significant differences, depending on the demographic characteristics of youth football players, their athletic careers and their team types.
Second, According to the demographic characteristics of youth soccer players, the cognitive immersion and behavioral immersion, which are sub-factors of athletic immersion, were found to have some significant differences, depending on the grade, athletic experience and type of team they belong to.
Third, According to the demographic characteristics of youth football players, the level of satisfaction in task performance, social mutual satisfaction, and coaching guidance, which are sub-factors of athletic satisfaction, were found to be partially significant.
Fourth, Physical language, physical appearance, pseudo-language and spatial behavior, which are sub-factors of non-verbal communication, were found to have significant effects on cognitive and behavioral immersion, sub-factor performance of exercise satisfaction, social mutual satisfaction, and coaching satisfaction.
