  • 게다가 늦게 수확하게 될 때 수확 직전이나 수확 중에 비가 오면 치명적이어서 아플라톡신이 생성되어 생산품에 오염되는 것은 거의 피할 수 없는 자명한 사실이 된다.25) 또한 수확 후 소비까지 시간이 길수록 아플라톡신 오염이 증가하게 된다는 것은 예측할 수 있을 것이다. 인위적으로 곡류 및 견과류에 생성균주를 접종한 후 2-3개월 및 18개월이경과한 후의 아플라톡신 함량을 측정하였을 때, 저장기간이긴 경우에 유의적으로 아플라톡신 함량이 증가한 것을 확인할 수 있었다.
