남자간호학생들이 여성 대상자에 대한 정서적인 간호나 신체적 간호를 수행할 때 성 역할 긴장을 경험하는 이유는? 분만실은 젊은 여성들의 분만 전 ․ 후 과정에서 신체 부위가 많이 노출되기 때문에 남자간호학생들은 여성 대상자에 대한 정서적인 간호나 신체적 간호를 수행할 때 성 역할 긴장을 경험하게 되었다. 즉, 자신이 간호학생이지만 남자라는 성 고정관념으로 인하여 여성 대상자와 상호작용하거나 간호수행을 할 때 민망함을 느꼈다.
