제주도 남부 외해에서 채집된 3개체의 표본(체장 30.3~47.0 mm)에 근거해 깊은 바다에 서식하는 망둑어과 Obliquogobius yamadai를 한국미기록종으로 보고한다. 본 종은 체측에 황색 띠가 있는 점, 제2등지느러미 기조수가 1극조 9연조인 점, 후두부 측면에 비늘이 있는 점, 머리가 작고 눈이 비교적 큰 점, 꼬리지느러미가 상하로 비대칭인 점 등의 특징이 있다. 본 종의 신한국명으로 "깊은바다노란띠망둑"을 제안한다.
