간호대학생이 타 학과 학생들에 비해 더욱 많은 스트레스를 접하는 이유는 무엇인가? | 간호대학생은 미래와 전공에 대한 충분한 고민없이 입시성적에 맞춰서 전공을 선택하고 전공에 대한 탐색없이 과중한 전문직 교육과정에 들어감으로써 전공만족도가 낮아지는 것을 볼 수 있고 전공만족도가 낮아지면, 재학 중 또는 졸업 후 전공을 포기하게 된다[6]. 간호대학생은 타 학과 학생들에 비해 과중한 학습뿐 아니라 임상실습에 임해야하므로 환자간호에 대한 무거운 책임감과 지식 및 경험부족, 엄격한 행동 규범 등과 관련된 역할적응에 대한 어려움 때문에 더욱 많은 스트레스에 접하게 되고[7], 이로 인하여 흥미를 잃거나 자아존중감이 낮아져 부적응을 경험하고 진로정체감에 혼란을 겪게 된다[8]. 나아가 학교를 졸업한 신규간호사가 임상이라는 직업현장에서 경험하게 되는 현실충격(reality shock)을 해소하지 못하여 전문직 사회에 적응하지 못하고 중도에 포기하는 것으로 이어지기도 한다[9]. |
