파킨슨병을 가진 환자들의 운동증상은 어떠한 운동증상을 보이는가? | 파킨슨병을 가진 환자들은 알츠하이머 치매를 가지 사람들과 비슷한 수준의 인지된 낙인을 경험하지만 훨씬 높은 사회적 고립감을 갖는다고 하였다. 파킨슨병 환자의 운동증상 즉, 떨림이나 강직 등은 부정적 사회적 인식 때문에 낙인화 되고 차별화되기 쉬운 것이 당연하며, 파킨슨병의 비정상 증상을 더 많이 보일수록 파킨슨병을 갖지 않는 사람들에 의해서 사회에서 수용되지 않거나 위협받기 쉬운 것으로 판단된다. 또한 언어형태, 마스크 같은 표정으로 비사회적, 불행, 친밀하지 않는 것으로 다른 사람들에게 인식되어 대화의 어려움을 겪고 그들이 경험하는 수치심은 안전할 것 같은 가정, 사생활 세계와 함께 ‘대중적 수치’로 간주될 수 있으므로 그들이 경험한 사회적 접촉의 변화는 심리정서의 장애차별주의(disablism)를 반영할 수 있다고 하였다[11]. |
