본 연구는 부모의 자녀가치, 양육 스트레스와 양육태도 간 자기효과와 상대방효과를 획인한 후, 양육태도에 대한 부모의 상호작용 형태를 이해할 수 있는 기초자료를 마련하고자 한다. 이를 위해 한국아동패널 6차 년도(2013년)의 1,542쌍의 자료를 SPSS 18.0 프로그램과 AMOS 18.0 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과, 자녀가치는 아버지가 어머니보다 높은 것으로 나타냈지만, 양육 스트레스와 양육 태도는 아버지에 비해 어머니가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 자녀가치, 양육 스트레스와 양육 태도는 통계적으로 유의한 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 부모의 자녀가치는 부모의 양육 스트레스에 자기 효과가 있는 것으로 나타냈다. 부모의 양육 태도는 부모의 자녀가치와 양육 스트레스에 영향을 받는 것으로 나타냈으며, 본 연구에서 다수의 변수들이 자기 효과만 있는 것으로 나타났으나, 어머니의 양육 스트레스는 아버지의 온정적 양육태도를 낮추는 상대방 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 커플 자료의 특성을 고려할 수 있는 APIM 분석 방법에 기초하여 부모의 자녀가치, 양육 스트레스, 양육 태도간의 관련성을 확인했다는 점에서 의의를 가진다.
