2010∼2015년의 기간에 턱관절 장애에 대한 중국 내 연구로 검색된 논문들의 분석을 통하여 한의학적 치료법을 다룬 총 59편의 논문을 확보한 후, 전체적인 내용 분석을 통하여 본 연구에 부합하는 임상 연구의 형식을 갖춘 총 20편의 논문을 최종적으로 선택하였다.

성능/효과

2. 턱관절 장애의 진단 기준과 치료법의 유효성 평가 수단은 환자의 주관적 감각과 연구자의 자의적 기준에 의존한 경우가 많았으며, 국제적인 기준에 곧바로 적용하기 어려운 부분이 있었고 이러한 점은 추후 개선되어야 할 것으로 보인다.
실제로 각종 전기 치료가 임상에서 다용되고 있으나 국내에서 이를 활용한 턱관절 장애 치료 증례는 보고된 바 없으며, 교합 조정 장치의 사용도 미미한 수준에 불과하다. 그리고 구강 내 교정 장치나 주사, 약물 투여와 같은 한의학 외 보존적 치료 수단과 병행 치료 연구도 고려할 필요가 있다고 생각된다. 이를 통해서 경쟁력 있는 치료 방법이 임상에서 많이 쓰일 수 있고, 나아가 더 다양하고 효과적인 치료법 개발과 적용에 토대가 될 수 있을 것이기 때문이다.
본 연구를 통해 중국의 턱관절 장애 치료 연구의 최신 동향을 살펴볼 수 있었으나 중국 논문 검색 수단을 CNKI 로 한정하였다는 점, 각 논문들의 질 평가가 이루어지지 못했다는 점과 최신 경향에 치중하여 2010년 이전의 연구 경향을 살펴보지 못한 점은 한계이다.
