환자안전역량을 갖추기 위한 미국의 노력에는 어떤 것들이 있는가? | 미국 간호대학협회(American Association of Colleges of Nursing, AACN)와 Quality and Safety Education for Nurses(QSEN)에서는 환자안전을 위한 간호계의 노력의 일환으로 의료의 질과 환자안전을 향상시키기 위한 지식, 기술, 태도를 갖춘 간호 인력을 준비하는 프로젝트를 진행하면서[7], 미국국립의학연구소(Institute of Medicine, IOM)에서 제시한 5가지 역량 즉, 환자중심 간호 제공, 다학제적인 팀 안에서의 업무수행, 근거기반 실무 실행, 질 향상, 정보 이용에 안전을 하나의 독자적 역량으로 추가하였고, 미국 간호사 자격 준비 프로그램에서도 그 세부항목을 발전시켰다[6]. |
