오픈 사이언스 시대를 위한 과학기술 연구지원 서비스 동향 분석

공공연구 성과물(출판물 및 데이터)을 디지털 포맷으로 공개하여 이들 자료에 대한 접근성을 높이고자하는 오픈 사이언스 프로젝트가 국외에서 활발히 진행되고 있다. 해외에서는 오픈 사이언스의 주요 특징인 공개 연구, 오픈 액세스, 연구데이터 공유, 공개적인 동료 평가, 투명한 연구 성과 평가에 맞추어 연구자 중심의 다양한 연구지원 서비스가 이루어지고 있다. 본 연구는 오픈 사이언스 시대를 대비하여 해외의 과학기술정보 서비스에 대해 심층 분석하고 국내 활용현황을 조사하였다. 국외의 적극적인 오픈 사이언스 대응현황에 비해 국내에서는 오픈 액세스나 기관 리포지터리 정도만 준비가 되어 있고, 연구데이터 관리나 협력 연구에 대해서는 아직까지 준비가 미비한 상태로 분석되었다. 따라서 국내 정보서비스 기관에서도 오픈 사이언스 시대를 대비하여 해외 우수 사례들을 충분히 고찰하여 이를 효과적으로 실행할 수 있는 연구지원 서비스 정책과 가이드라인 마련이 시급한 것으로 나타났다.
