저자화이상현상은 어떻게 발생하는가? | 해저열수광상에서 열수분출공 및 열수유체는 광상을 찾기 위한 매우 중요한 인자가 된다. 해양지각에서 지각 틈을 따라 유입된 해수는 근처의 마그마에 의해 여러 화학작용을 거치면서 열수유체가 되고 그 열수유체는 상부지각이 포함하고 있는 자성광물같은 물질을 포함하여 해저면까지 분출되면서 나오게 된다(Alt, 1995; Humphris, 1995). 이 과정에서 큐리 온도(Curie temperature) 이상보다 높은 온도의 마그마로 인해 열수 유체에 포함된 자성광물은 상대적으로 낮은 자성을 가진 광물들로 변질되거나 또는 자성을 잃게 된다. 따라서 이러한 저자화이상현상을 이용하여 해저열수광상을 찾는 자력탐사를 타 탐사기법들과 함께 사용하면 좀 더 효과적으로 열수광상부존 탐사에 사용할 수 있다(Ishibash and Urabe, 1995; Kim et al. |
