동작관찰 훈련이란 무엇인가? 이중 최근 많이 연구되는 방법은 시지각 감각자극을 기반의 동작관찰 훈련이다(Park 등, 2014; Kim과 Lee, 2015). 동작관찰 훈련은 수행하고자 하는 행동이나 동작을 관찰하고 관찰한 동작을 모방하여 반복적으로 훈련하여 대상자의 운동기술과 수행능력을 향상시키는 방법이다(Mulder 등, 2007). 이러한 동작관찰 훈련은 관찰, 상상, 실행의 과정이 포함된 인지과정으로 시각, 청각, 촉각, 고유감각과 같은 다양한 감각을 사용하여 이미 학습된 신경네트워크를 이용하므로 운동기능 회복을 위한 효과적인 접근법이라고 할 수 있다(De Vries과 Mulder, 2007).
