데이터처리
연구대상자의 일반적 특성은 빈도분석을 하였고, 일반적 특성에 따른 윤리성향, 자아존중감, 임상실습 만족도, 전공만족도는 Independent t-test, One-way ANOVA를 이용하여 분석하였으며, 사후검정은 Duncon’s test를 이용하였다.
윤리성향, 자아존중감, 임상 실습 만족이 전공만족도와 관련성이 있는지를 보기 위하여 Person’s correlation을 하였으며, 전공만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하기 위하여 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다.
성능/효과
윤리성향, 자아존중감, 임상실습 만족이 전공만족도와의 관련성에서 윤리성향은 이상주의와 상대주의 모두 전공만족도의 하위요인인 교과만족, 수업만족, 관계만족, 인식만족 모두에서 양의 상관관계를 나타내었다. 이러한 결과로 윤리성향과 전공만족도는 밀접한 관계가 있다고 할 수 있으며, 치과위생사들의 윤리성향은 자신의 직무행동과 윤리적 의사결정이 중대한 영향을 끼친다는 천 등[33]의 연구와 유사하였다.
이상주의 성향은 성적이 3.5이상에서 높았고(4.04±0.48), 구강건강상태에서는 불량하다(4.11±0.47)에서 높게 나타났다(F=5.620, p=.000).
일반적 특성에 따른 자아존중감은 학과선택 시기, 구강건강, 성격, 가정분위기에 따라 차이가 나타났다. 성격이 외향적이고 가정분위기가 화목할수록 부정적인 면보다 긍정적인 에너지가 높고 사회위축감과 공격성이 낮아 자아존중감이 높아질 것으로 사료되며 박 등[18]은 성격, 김 등[23]은 가정분위기에 따라 차이를 보여 본 연구와 유사하였고, 지[24]의 연구에서 대인관계가 좋을수록, 구강건강이 건강할수록, 실습횟수가 많을수록 유의하게 나타나 본 연구와 일치하였다.

회귀분석의 가정을 검정한 결과잔차의 분포 확인에서 정규성 가정을 만족하는 것으로 나타났고, 독립변수들 간의 다중공선성을 분석한 결과, 공차한계(tolerance)는 0.78∼0.96으로 0.1 이상 나왔으며, 분산팽창계수(VIF)는 1.03∼1.27으로 나타나 10보다 크지 않으므로 독립변수들 간의 다중공선성에는 문제가 없었다.
