영유아들이 교사와 지내는 시간이 길어진 사회적 배경은? | 지난 반세기동안 우리나라는 산업화와 도시화로 인해 전통적인 가족구조가 해체되고 소규모, 핵가족 구조로 빠르게 변화되어 왔다. 또한, 여성의 사회참여가 가속화 되면서 맞벌이 가정이 급격히 증가하였다. 이와 같은 핵가족 구조와 맞벌이 가정의 증가는 가정 내의 자녀 양육수단 부족 현상의 원인이 되었고, 가정 내에서 이루어지는 보호․양육과 교육의 기능에 대한 사회적 책임이 증가하였다. 자연스럽게 영유아들은 하루일과 중 대부분을 부모보다는 각 기관의 교사와 같이 있는 시간이 더욱 많아지게 되었으며, 영유아의 발달에 있어서 교사의 역할은 증대되었다. |
