Purpose: This study aimed to examine the influence of self-efficacy, emotional intelligence, and nurse-parent partnership on the nursing competency of pediatric nurses. Methods: This study recruited 114 pediatric nurses working in one tertiary general hospital and two general hospitals in the city. Data were collected using self-reported questionnaires from August 26 to September 16, 2019, and were analyzed using the statistical package IBM SPSS 22.0. Results: Statistically significant correlations were found between self-efficacy, emotional intelligence, nurse-parent partnership, and nursing competency. The nursing competency of these nurses was affected by significant predictors such as emotional intelligence, nurse-parent partnership, work duration in pediatrics, and self-efficacy. These variables explained 60.6% of nursing competency of pediatric nurses. Conclusion: To improve the nursing competency of pediatric nurses, we should develop an intervention that can enhance the nurses' emotional intelligence, self-efficacy, and nurse-parent partnership. Furthermore, greater consideration of nursing careers is needed.

05, 검정력 80%, 예측변인의 수를 9개로 한 결과 114명이 산출되었고 탈락률 20%를 고려하여 136명을 목표 인원으로 하였다. 총 123부가 회수되어(회수율 90.4%) 응답이 불완전하거나 누락된 9부를 제외하고 총 114부(92.7%)를 최종분석에 사용하였다.

• 대상자의 간호역량에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하기 위해서 단계적 다중회귀분석(stepwise multiple regression analysis)을 실시하였다.

이론/모형

간호역량은 Jang [16]이 개발한 간호사의 임상경력개발모형에서 4단계 임상등급에 따른 13개 간호역량에 대한 96개의 행동지표를 수정, 보완한 Lee [25]의 도구이다. 본 도구는 Likert 4점 척도로 ‘그렇지 않다’를 1점, ‘언제나 그렇다’를 4점으로 주고 부정적 문항은 역환산 처리하여 점수가 높을수록 간호역량 수준이 높음을 의미한다.
감성지능은 Wong과 Law [9]가 개발한 Wong and Law Emotional Intelligence Scale (WLEIS)를 Jung [24]이 사용한 도구이다. 본 도구는 Likert 7점 척도로 ‘전혀 아니다’를 1점, ‘매우 그렇다’를 7점으로 주고 점수가 높을수록 감성지능이 높음을 의미한다.
자기효능감은 Sherer 등[22]이 개발한 General Self–Efficacy Scale (GSES)을 Oh [23]가 번역한 도구이다. 본 도구는 Likert 5점 척도로 ‘확실히 아니다’를 1점, ‘확실히 그렇다’를 5점으로 주고 부정적 문항은 역환산 처리하여 점수가 높을수록 자기효능감이 높음을 의미하며, 총 17문항으로 구성되어 있다.

성능/효과

국내 아동간호사의 자기효능감, 감성지능, 환아부모와의 파트너십 및 간호역량을 파악하고 이들 변수 간의 관계를 연계하여 아동간호사의 간호역량에 미치는 영향 요인에 대해 파악하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 따라서 본 연구결과를 토대로 아동간호사의 간호역량에 영향을 미치는 보다 다양한 요인을 탐색하고, 국내 아동간호 실무환경을 고려한 한국형 아동간호역량 측정도구의 개발을 제언한다.
본 연구결과, 아동간호사의 자기효능감, 감성지능, 환아부모와의 파트너십 및 간호역량은 밀접한 관련이 있으며 감성지능과 환아부모와의 파트너십, 5년 이상의 근무경력, 자기효능감이 아동간호사의 간호역량에 영향을 미치는 요인임이 확인되었다. 아동간호사의 간호역량증진을 위해서는 체계적인 교육프로그램의 개발과 지속적인 교육으로 자기효능감과 감성지능을 향상시키고 아동간호사의 인식 개선을 비롯한 부모와의 역할정립을 통한 협력관계의 형성이 필요하다. 아울러 아동간호사의 근무경력과 같은 변수 또한 고려해야 한다.
