본 연구는 대학생의 성장마인드셋과 학업 적응 간의 관계에서 그릿, 진로 적응의 매개 효과를 순차적으로 검증하여 대학생의 학업 적응을 위한 시사점을 제시하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 전라남도 소재 4년제 대학 3개 대학의 학생 366명을 대상으로 연구를 진행하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대학생의 성장마인드셋이 학업 적응에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 대학생의 성장마인드셋과 학업 적응 간의 관계에서 각각 그릿과 진로 적응이 매개 효과가 나타났다. 셋째, 대학생의 성장마인드셋과 학업 적응 간의 관계에서 그릿과 진로 적응의 순차적 매개 효과가 나타났다. 본 연구는 대학생의 학업 적응은 성장마인드셋, 그릿, 진로 적응이 영향을 미침을 알 수 있었다. 이를 위하여 대학생들의 학업 적응을 돕는 교육 프로그램과 상담 개입 방안에 대한 시사점을 논의하였다.
