One of the most efficient means of introducing light deep into a underground space is through light duct system, because of amount of light falling on the underground lower levels can be reduce the energy demands of artificial illumination. The purpose of this paper is to provide the basic data to develope design skills and predict illuminance distribution on underground space, through analysis of optical characteristics about vertical add horizontal light duct system. In planning the experiment, it was considered that by using a scale model, and checking the results in a computational method.
