Dapsone syndrome is a rare, potentially fatal hypersensitivity reaction to dapsone, presenting with a triad of fever, a rash, and internal organ involvement. We describe 2 cases of dapsone syndrome presenting like viral exanthem. Two male patients presented with a spiking fever and generalized eruptions, 2 to 3 weeks after initiation of dapsone. Clinicians should be aware of dapsone syndrome in patients who are on dapsone therapy and who have abnormal liver tests, fever and a rash.
