We present photoluminescence (PL) studies of resonant excitation of self-assembled CdTe/ZnTe quantum dots (QDs) by using resonant excitation. Photoluminescence excitation (PLE) measurements revealed the existence of sharp resonances. They were common for the PL lines related to different charge states of the QD. From a combination of PL and PLE results, we infer that the resonances are due to energy transfer between coupled QD pairs. We find also a spatial correlation between the anisotropy axes of such coupled quantum dot pairs.
