Adenosine‐loaded dissolving microneedle patches to improve skin wrinkles, dermal density, elasticity and hydration

Abstract

RésuméObjectifBien que les patches à micro‐aiguilles dissolvantes aient fait l'objet de nombreuses études dans le domaine des cosmétiques, aucune comparaison avec les produits topiques de routine n'a été réalisée. Cette étude a évalué l'efficacité de deux produits antirides, de patches à micro‐aiguilles dissolvantes chargés d'adénosine et d'une crème à l'adénosine d'un point de vue de la formation de rides, de la densité, l’élasticité et l'hydratation cutanées, ainsi que de la sécurité, dans un test clinique centré sur la zone à pattes d'oie.MéthodesDes tests d'efficacité et de sécurité cliniques ont été réalisés pendant 10 semaines sur 22 femmes ayant des rides près des yeux. Le patch à micro‐aiguilles dissolvantes chargé d'adénosine a été utilisé une fois tous les 3 jours, le soir, pendant 8 semaines, dans l'une des zones à pattes d'oie. La crème à l'adénosine a été utilisée deux fois par jour, le matin et le soir, pendant 8 semaines, dans l'autre zone à pattes d'oie. La formation de rides, la densité, l’élasticité et l'hydratation cutanées ont été évaluées à partir d'un PRIMOS premium, du Dermascan C, du Cutometer MPA580 et du Corneometer CM 825, respectivement. En outre, l'irritation cutanée subjective était évaluée par auto‐observation et l'irritation cutanée objective par des entretiens avec un expert.RésultatsLes patches à micro‐aiguilles dissolvantes chargés d'adénosine ont démontré une efficacité similaire ou supérieure à celle de la crème à l'adénosine. Les deux groupes ont démontré une efficacité statistiquement significative pour quasiment tous les paramètres (P < 0.05). Les patches à micro‐aiguilles dissolvantes ont eu un effet durable sur la profondeur moyenne des rides (P < 0.05), se sont avérés efficaces uniquement pour la densité cutanée (P < 0.05), ont entraîné une amélioration rapide de l’élasticité (P < 0.05), et se sont avérés plus efficaces pour l'hydratation (P < 0.001). Aucun effet indésirable n'a été observé dans aucun des groupes pendant la période d'essai.ConclusionsDans le test d'efficacité clinique de quatre paramètres cutanés, les patches à micro‐aiguilles dissolvantes chargés d'adénosine se sont avérés être tout aussi efficaces ou supérieurs à la crème à l'adénosine, pour une dose hebdomadaire d'adénosine 140 fois moins forte. Les patches à micro‐aiguilles dissolvantes n'ont provoqué aucune réaction indésirable. Ces patches à micro‐aiguilles dissolvantes chargés d'adénosine devraient représenter des produits cosmétiques sûrs, efficaces et innovants pour embellir la peau.
