초록

An electric power plant steam turbine system with digital computer control in which control signals are generated as a function of the actual steam conditions present in each turbine section and in a manner which maintains the sum of the instantaneous power developed in each turbine section equal to the total demand placed upon the turbine system.

An improved steam turbine system comprising: a steam turbine in which steam expands as it imparts torque to the turbine shaft; means for generating a representation of the drop in steam enthalpy resulting from the expansion of steam in the turbine; and means for controlling the operation of said turbine as a function of said steam enthalpy drop representation, whereby the turbine is controlled as a function of the actual steam conditions in the turbine.
