Salicylate esters have been found to be suitable blocking agents for polyisocyanates, enabling preparation of hydroxy terminated polybutadiene based polyurethane bound propellant grains having extended pot life. Unblocking occurs readily at normal propellant cure temperatures, allowing normal cure r
