The disclosure concerns a device for fastening a handle, arm rest, or the like, to a wall in a vehicle, or the like. Two receptacles for pins are provided at spaced apart holes in the wall. A guide pin on the part is shaped so that once the guide pin is inserted in the wall, and the part is moved against the wall, the pin extends generally parallel to the wall.
