A system for facilitating the installation of a storage battery of the general lead acid type in a vehicle and its removal therefrom is disclosed. In one embodiment designed to accommodate side-mounted battery terminals, a rigid case mounted to the vehicle includes a pair of adjustable connectors secured to an upper portion of a lateral wall thereof.
