A nacelle mounted directly to and above a wing so as to extend forwardly therefrom. The wing has a critical zone, which includes an area in the airstream flow about the wing where either of the following conditions occur: 1. The local pressure coefficient in the airstream has an absolute magnitude greater than 0.05, 2. The airstream flow about the airfoil is supersonic.
