The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for channelling air through openings in a motorcycle fairing. The air channelling apparatus includes an air scoop having an inlet opening for communication with an interior of the air scoop and a mounting mechanism for securing the air scoop adjacent to the openings in the fairing. The mounting mechanism permits both rotation of the air scoop and limited movement of the air scoop away from the fairing. An apparatus for channelling air through openings in a motorcycle fairing, comprising: an air scoop including an inlet opening for communicating with an interior of the air scoop, the interior being adapted for communication with the openings in the fairing; mounting means for urging the air scoop against the fairing adjacent to the openings, the mounting means being adapted to permit both rotation of the air scoop through at least 180°and limited movement of the air scoop away from the fairing.
