초록

An internal combustion engine having a supercharger utilizes a secondary air supply control system for purifying exhaust gas. A secondary air supply passage with a reservoir chamber is provided in the middle of an intake passage communicating with an exhaust gas passage. A check valve prevents the back flow of exhaust gas in the middle of the secondary air supply passage.
