The present invention comprises an axial flow compressor and an impeller in fluid communication on a common rotatable shaft with an inlet fan and drive pulley. The compressor and impeller are each dischargeable into a cooling-heating tube. An air separation device at the downstream end of the cooling-heating tube draws cool air from the axially central part of the cooling-heating tube, and it draws hot air from adjacent the inner walls of the cooling-heating tube.
