A vehicular seat for handicapped and elderly persons is disclosed which is readily accommodated in any type of conventional vehicle, such as automobile, van, bus and the like. The vehicular seat is given three degrees of freedom of movement, the first degree being a rotary one in a horizontal plane about a shiftable vertical axis of rotation, the second being a rectilinear one in a horizontal plane, and the third being rotary in a horizontal plane about a fixed vertical rotary axis.
