In this cooking extruder the nozzle head (12) is disposed in a nozzle plate (10) and the passage (34) through which the material for the envelope body is supplied extends at an angle to the axis of a filling tube (42) through which the filling material is introduced into the extruded envelope body. When clogging occurs during production the filling tube (42) can be withdrawn from the nozzle head (12) and replaced by a new filling tube.
