A dispenser for solvent wetted towelettes in the form of a continuous band that is perforated at intervals along its length to define separate towelettes. The dispenser comprises a container 12, a first closure member 16 having a skirt 22 that is received in an annular groove 24 in the container 12, and a lid 20 that screw engages the container 12.
