Apparatus for making flavored carbonated beverages includes a carbonator (2) and concentrate supply (4). The latter includes a metering chamber (24) so that metered quantities of concentrate are supplied for making each drink. Concentrate is drawn from a supply bottle (6) into the metering chamber (24) by creating a reduced pressure therein with the aid of a venturi (20) through which carbon dioxide gas under pressure is supplied.
