초록

Hydroconversion processes utilizing a catalyst prepared from a catalyst precursor concentrate such as phosphomolybdic acid, is provided. The catalyst precursor concentrate is treated at relatively low pressures in a specified manner.

A process for converting a carbonaceous chargestock comprising a hydrocarbon to produce lower boiling products which process comprises reacting said carbonaceous chargestock with hydrogen at a hydrogen partial pressure from about 50 to about 5000 psig at a temperature from about 800°to about 900°F.
