A dentifrice sachet wherein the sachet which envelops the dentifrice is a plastic laminate material having a modified acrylonitrile methyl acrylate copolymer inner surface. The sachet is subject to reduced delamination when in contact with a paste or gel dentifrice.

A dentifrice sachet, the sachet comprising a heat-sealed laminated package having dentifrice therein, said package having a plurality of layers adhesively laminated to one another in said laminated package, the inner surface of said laminated package being on acrylonitrile methyl acrylate copolymer modified with butadiene-acrylonitrile copolymer, said sachet enveloping a dentifrice present in amount of 7-12 cc and the ratio of the interior surface of said laminated package to the volume of said dentifrice being from about 16:1 to about 9:1.
