The invention provides an odor neutralizing composition comprising: (a) a complexing agent selected from a polymer of the formula (1) [Figure] in which R is a substituted or unsubstituted alkylene group having up to 12 carbon atoms in the unsubstituted chain. (b) a carrier capable of assisting wetting of odor forming compositions; and (c) a cationic moiety; said moiety being part of a chemically independent compound, or chemically associated with a complexing agent or the carrier.
