The load bearing element is engageable with a slide anchor when the slide anchor assumes an occupant-restraining position. The auxiliary load bearing element is provided at a position spaced further by a predetermined distance toward an end of a guide rail, the end being on the side of the restraining position, from the point of engagement between the load bearing element and slide anchor.
