The ceramic rings (20; 46) may be made from case to case of a ceramic material, for example silicon nitride, adapted to the material to be ground and installed in the grinding container (10). They may comprise at their end faces (22, 24) interengaging profiles and/or be adhered together at their end faces (22, 24).
