Actuated forebody strakes provide yaw control at high angles of attack. In one embodiment, the strakes are axially slidable in the forebody to be deployed out of slots provided for the strakes in the forebody. In another embodiment, the strakes are pivotally connected at the tip of the strakes to pivot radially outwardly out of the slots provided in the forebody.
