An adhesive composite comprising a backing having a coating of pressure-sensitive adhesive on one surface, said backing having a center region and two side regions adjacent said center region, and further comprising first and second liner pieces, wherein said first liner piece is releasably adhered to the adhesive coated surface of one of the side regions of the backing and said second liner piece is releasably adhered to the adhesive coated surface of the other side region of the backing, and wherein said backing is wrapped around the first liner piece, releasably adhering said adhesive coated surface of the center region of the backing to at least one of the liner pieces.
