An integral attachment means for attaching a coupling body having a bore and first and second ends to an insert upon insertion of the insert into the bore which extends into the first end of the body, the attachment means including spring ring means for distributing a separation force about a perimeter of the insert, a plurality of individually spaced apart point force members, and a latching sleeve member forcing the point force members radially inward into engagement with the spring ring means, forcing said spring ring means radially inward into the bore so as to engage the insert.
